Automation Tester || 12 Months Contract with High Possibility of extension || Rate is $700-800/Day Plus Super

Location: Melbourne CBD

Technical and analytical skills

- Manage, develop and support the provision of automation services for the testing team and for use across the Division in major complex project deliveries and ongoing business activities
- Continuously learn new technologies and improve skills and knowledge with existing toolsets
- Implement the changes to and execution of automation regression suites and frameworks
- Collaborate and provide advice across the test teams and software delivery teams to ensure effective automation tests are established, maintained and refactored in a cross- functional environment according to established standards
- Provide and lead services in cross functional teams in areas of test automations and CI/CD with a focus on improving speed and quality testing on projects using tools.
- Explore contemporary technologies and manage and run Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to sustainably transform and uplift automation capability.
- When required conduct manual testing processes
- Manage and conduct system performance testing

Skills and Knowledge

- Testing methodology knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the testing of computer systems and testing methodologies
- Automation frameworks and tools:



Demonstrated experience in the creation and development of automation frameworks and automation tools.
- Interpersonal skills: Strong leadership, collaborative and interpersonal skills to manage, lead, engage and work with test team members and stakeholders across the Division
- Agile methodologies: A sound understanding of and experience in agile delivery methodologies and Software Development Life Cycles
- Analytical skills: Demonstrated high-level analytical and problem-solving skills to analyse risks and make sound judgements

Highly desirable

- Computer Science or Software Engineering degree or equivalent
- A formal Certification in Testing i.e. ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
- Experience in SAFe Agile practices
- A valuable understanding of cloud computing, the toolchain in a CI/CD pipeline and microservices
- Experience in Salesforce and Customer Relationship Management Systems
- Experience in Cucumber, Karate, Ready API, Postman and other automation tools workplaces.
