We are seeking Level 3****Belt Splicersto join our team in Olympic Dam! You will work with our close-knit team of skilled services employees, Supervisors and Coordinators that promote a high safety culture, and are willing to go the extra mile for each other and the Company.

About the Role:

- 8/6 Roster - FTE Roster
- Competitive Rates
- SA Based.

Qualifications/Tickets:

- Current Drivers Licence
- Confined Spaces ticket, Working at Heights ticket, Gas Test Atmospheres ticket (desirable)
- Belt Splicing/Polymer Processing Certificate (desirable)
- High Risk Work Licence including Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging etc. (desirable)

We are looking for Level 3 Belt Splicers who can meet the following criteria:

- Experience working on steel cord, fabric and/or woven belts
- Substantial experience and knowledge in materials handling conveyor belt systems & associated components such as roller identification, roller frames, skirting systems, belt cleaner systems, conveyor belt tracking units, transfer chutes and conveyor structures
- Experience operating conveyor vulcanising equipment as well as belt handling equipment
- Rollers installs and change outs, refurbishments, roller frames




- Experience around skirting systems and conveyor structures

Attitude:

- Excellent communication skills, commitment to safety, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to undergo and pass a police check and pre-employment medical including Drug and Alcohol screening and Functional Capacity Evaluation
