About The Role

We're looking for an experienced Bid Manager to lead the end-to-end tender process for major government and corporate opportunities while supporting strategic new business growth. Working closely with sales, commercial, product and operational teams, you'll bring together the right stakeholders, shape winning bid strategies, and ensure high-quality tender submissions that differentiate us in the market

This is an opportunity to play a highly visible role across the business, partnering with senior stakeholders and external bid-writing specialists to deliver compelling, commercially sound solutions for customers. You'll combine strategic thinking, project management and relationship-building skills to drive successful tender outcomes and support future growth initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Lead the end-to-end tender process, ensuring high-quality submissions that meet deadlines and all response requirements.
- Coordinate bid strategies, kick-off meetings, bid/no-bid reviews and key stakeholder engagement activities.
- Partner with internal subject matter experts and external bid-writing providers to develop compelling customer-focused responses.
- Gather, review and translate complex tender requirements into clear submission strategies and action plans.
- Manage tender documentation, registers, reporting and governance processes to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Facilitate contract reviews and coordinate legal, commercial and stakeholder approvals throughout the tender lifecycle.




- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of tender and new business opportunities.
- Support presentations, proposal submissions and customer engagement activities post tender submission.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, including the use of AI and technology to improve efficiency and submission quality.
- Collaborate across sales, commercial and operational teams to develop winning solutions that balance customer needs and commercial outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience managing large, complex government and/or corporate tender submissions.
- Strong strategic thinking and solution-development capability.
- Experience leading bids with high-value, bespoke customer requirements rather than high-volume SME tenders.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to balance customer outcomes with business profitability.
- Experience working with third party bid-writing partners and coordinating cross-functional response teams.




- A continuous improvement mindset, including leveraging AI and technology to streamline bid processes.
- Strong project management, organisation and communication skills.
- Experience within apparel, textiles, uniforms, industrial services or adjacent B2B sectors will be highly regarded.
