Role Description This is a full-time, in office BIM Modeler role based in Melbourne, VIC. The BIM Modeler will create, develop, and maintain Building Information Models for air conditioning, ventilation, and related building services projects across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors. Daily responsibilities include interpreting construction drawings, coordinating architectural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) elements, and ensuring models are accurate, clash-free, and compliant with project standards.

The role involves close collaboration with engineers, designers, project managers, and site teams to support planning,



installation, and maintenance activities. The BIM Modeler will also assist in updating documentation, preparing model-based reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of modeling workflows and standards.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and experience working as a Modeler in building services projects.
- Understanding of Architecture and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within integrated building models.
- Ability to read, interpret, and produce accurate Construction Drawings and related technical documentation.
- Proficiency with relevant BIM and CAD software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or similar tools).
- Knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, and mechanical services in domestic, commercial, and industrial environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Building Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with Australian building codes, standards, and safety practices is an advantage.
