QIX Consulting is partnering with an exclusive client to engage an experienced Business Analyst to support a major Superannuation / Policy Administration platform.
This role will work across business, technology, product, administration and legal stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into high-quality user stories, process designs and practical technology solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead discovery, requirements gathering and story elaboration
- Develop business requirements, process designs and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate workshops with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyse existing processes and identify transformation opportunities
- Support feature prioritisation and Agile delivery
- Develop and execute UAT test cases
- Support implementation, release and change management activities
- Manage risks, issues, incidents and stakeholder communications
- Act as an SME for client issues and platform change requests
Mandatory experience:
- Strong Business Analysis experience within Superannuation and/or Life Insurance
- Experience working with policy administration platforms
- Strong requirements gathering, process analysis and documentation skills
- Proven experience creating and elaborating user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience using INVEST principles to validate user stories
- Robust Agile delivery experience, including sprint planning and story elaboration
- Experience facilitating workshops across business and technology teams
- UAT, implementation and change management experience
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills
Highly regarded:
- Experience with Life400 / L400
- Experience working with other mainframe-based administration systems
- Exposure to release management and implementation documentation
