The Opportunity

We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for as a sales professional as a Business Development Executive. In this role you will be responsible for driving our growth and expanding our market presence. Well suited to a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge who can identify new opportunities, build key partnerships, and accelerate revenue growth in specialised pharmaceutical formulations.

This role is suitable for someone who has a proven track record in account management and achieving success through exceeding key performance and creating highly profitable accounts.

Role Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand market share
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and partnerships
- Establish and nurture relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, contract development organisations, and regulatory bodies
- Track sales metrics and provide regular reporting on business development activities
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing client base
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
- Stay current with relevant regulations, market trends, and emerging technologies




- Build relationships with key opinion leaders and industry influencers

Role Requirements

- Solid experience in business development, preferably within pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or related industries
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand complex technical formulation requirements
- Proficiency in using business development tools
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Experience with contract manufacturing organisations (desirable)
- Experience with international market development (desirable)
