About Centurion Garage Doors

Centurion Garage Doors is Australia's largest privately owned garage door manufacturer. In 2026, we celebrate 50 years in business - combining the stability of an established Australian manufacturer with a clear focus on growth. From our Tullamarine operation, we support an established network of dealers and resellers across Victoria. We are now looking for an experienced business developer to expand that network and help create new opportunities with residential builders, delivered in partnership with our resellers.

The opportunity

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager East Coast, you will take ownership of business development across Victoria. You will identify and recruit new dealers and resellers, grow selected existing accounts and build relationships with residential builders who could benefit from Centurion products and a strong local installation and service partner. A key part of the role is bringing the two channels together. You will open doors with builders, understand their requirements and match them with the right Centurion reseller to create a commercially sound, long-term partnership. This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys prospecting, building networks and converting opportunities into sustainable sales.

What you will do

- Develop and execute a Victorian new-business plan across the reseller and residential builder markets
- Prospect for and recruit high-quality dealers and resellers in priority areas
- Identify, approach and develop relationships with residential builders
- Connect suitable builders with capable Centurion resellers and help establish clear ways of working
- Grow selected existing accounts through structured plans and measurable opportunities
- Manage opportunities from first contact through qualification, proposal, conversion and handover
- Work closely with internal sales, operations and technical teams to ensure commitments are commercially practical




- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast and activity information in the CRM
- Represent Centurion professionally across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria

What you will bring

- A proven record of winning new business and developing a territory with limited supervision
- Experience selling to residential builders, construction businesses, trade customers or channel partners
- Existing Victorian builder relationships or a demonstrated ability to open doors in the builder market will be highly regarded
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills
- Commercial judgement and the ability to create value for the builder, reseller and Centurion
- A practical, collaborative style - you can bring different businesses together and keep momentum through a longer sales cycle
- Experience with building products, garage doors, specification sales or dealer networks is advantageous, but not essential
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Victoria
