About the role
Most psychology clinics wait for the phone to ring. We are done doing that. We are building a referral network across GPs, community organisations and institutions, and we need someone to go and build it. This is not a marketing job. This is a get in the car, walk into the clinic, sit down with the practice manager job.
Key responsibilities
- Opening doors and keeping them open
- Getting in front of GP clinics across Melbourne and running education sessions alongside our clinical lead
- Building relationships with LGBTQIA+ and community organisations, NDIS providers, out of home care and justice services
- Working the institutional end: hospitals, psychiatry and paediatric clinics, government
- Owning the referral book end to end. Who referred, what happened, when you followed up
- Turning a first meeting into a second referral, then a tenth
About you
- You have sold into health, allied health, NDIS, aged care, education or government
- You know what a practice manager actually cares about, and it is not your brochure
- You are comfortable being told no and going back anyway
- You can hold a room of GPs without flinching
- You track your own pipeline without being asked twice
- You get why a person who has been misgendered by three clinicians is not going to try a fourth on a maybe
Benefits
- Uncapped commission tied to referrals that convert, not meetings booked. OTE $130,000 and up
- Base reviewed at six months against what you have built. Hit the number and it moves
- Direct line to the founder. No committee, no six week approval cycle
- A real budget for travel, coffee, lunches and events
- A clinic with something worth selling. The care is genuinely good and the outcomes back it up
About us The Identity Clinic is a national tele-health psychology practice for LGBTQIA+ people. We were built from nothing into a national operation in under three years, by people the health system was never designed for. Our clients are trans, gender diverse, queer, and often coming to us after being failed somewhere else.
Affirming care is not a marketing line here. It is the entire reason the business exists. We are growing. We are adding clinicians, launching recent services, and we want a referral engine underneath all of it.
