About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Community Spaces & Recreation, you will provide high-quality administrative and operational support across the Community Space & Recreation unit. You will work closely with the Manager, Team Leaders and teams, contributing to administration, reporting, project support, financials and customer service.
- You will contribute to internal projects, investigate business issues, gather information and help implement practical solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- You will provide administrative support to the Manager, including coordinating schedule, managing calendar, prioritising appointments and assisting with email and correspondence management. In addition, you will coordinate unit reporting activities, including Customer Requests, financial reporting and other corporate requirements.
- You will support purchasing,
invoicing and document management processes. You will also provide guidance and support to staff in the use of business systems and administrative processes.
- You will provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, coordinating customer enquiries and correspondence, resolving matters professionally and ensuring requests are managed within agreed timeframes.
About You
You are a highly organised and proactive qualified with strong administration and customer service experience. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can produce accurate reports, correspondence and presentations to a high standard.
You are confident managing competing priorities, maintaining attention to detail and building positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You enjoy solving problems, identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
You will bring strong Microsoft Office skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. Experience in local government will be highly regarded, as will an interest in improving community outcomes.
