- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and client specifications to plan and execute cabinet-making and joinery projects.
- Measure, mark, cut, shape and join timber, board materials and other components using hand tools and woodworking machinery.
- Assemble and install cabinets, benchtops, wardrobes, shelving and fitted furniture in residential and commercial settings.
- Select appropriate timber, composite board materials and hardware to meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Apply surface finishes including sanding, staining, painting, varnishing and lacquering to achieve required aesthetic and durability results.
- Inspect and repair damaged or worn cabinetry and joinery, replacing defective components as required.
- Maintain woodworking equipment and tools in safe working condition in accordance with WHS requirements.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, builders and interior designers to ensure timely delivery and accurate installation of cabinetry.
Minimum
Skills & Experience:

Qualifications: Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Technology (or equivalent trade qualification) required.

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Cabinetmaker or in a similar trades/joinery role.
?
Skills: Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery; solid attention to detail; ability to read technical drawings and plans.
? Knowledge of Australian building codes and WHS requirements desirable.
? Australian driver's licence desirable.
