UE BAGELS 33-35 hours per week | Full-time | Miami, Gold Coast

Starting Salary $57,000 - $60,000 plus Super pending experience (Please note this is 33-35 hours a week)

UE Bagels is looking for a confident, energetic and experienced Café Manager to lead our Miami store!

We’re a busy, growing Gold Coast bagel shop known for great food, great coffee and even better vibes. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day running of our Miami store, lead from the front and create a team culture that people genuinely want to be part of.

This is a hands-on management role you won’t be sitting in an office. You’ll be on the floor, working alongside the team, serving customers, keeping standards high and making sure the store runs smoothly.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Miami Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation, performance and presentation of the venue, reporting directly to the owners.

You’ll lead the team, maintain our service and product standards, manage day-to-day operations and help drive sales and profitability.

This is a 35-hour-per-week position.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Team Leadership

- Lead, motivate and support the UE Bagels team
- Set clear expectations and maintain high standards of performance
- Train and onboard new team members
- Keep the team up to date with menu, product and service changes
- Manage performance, attitude and team culture
- Build a positive, productive and respectful workplace
- Assist with recruitment and staff selection
- Conduct regular check-ins and performance conversations

Customer Experience

- Deliver a consistently friendly, fast and professional customer experience
- Build relationships with regular customers
- Handle customer questions and complaints professionally
- Ensure orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner
- Lead the team to continually improve our customer experience

Food, Coffee & Service Standards





- Maintain consistently high food, beverage and service standards
- Ensure the team understands our menu and products
- Ensure UE Bagels procedures and standards are followed
- Monitor product quality and presentation
- Ensure the venue is clean, organised and running efficiently

Sales & Store Performance

- Lead the team to maximise sales and average customer spend
- Implement effective upselling and suggestive selling
- Monitor labour, wastage and stock levels
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and monitor deliveries
- Minimise theft, wastage and damage
- Work towards business targets and budgets

Venue Operations

- Ensure the store is correctly opened and securely closed
- Maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules
- Monitor fridge temperatures and food safety requirements
- Ensure health & safety procedures are followed
- Report maintenance, repair and operational issues promptly
- Ensure cash handling, POS and reconciliation procedures are followed
- Maintain excellent store presentation at all times
