About the role

As Campus Director, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership, performance and operation of our Ormond service. Working closely with our Operations Manager and ownership team, you will provide strong and visible leadership across the campus while ensuring the service maintains high standards of education, compliance, team culture and family engagement. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being present within their service, knows their educators and families, and takes genuine ownership of the performance and culture of their centre.

Key responsibilities

- Providing strong leadership, direction, mentoring and support to the team
- Creating a positive, accountable and professional workplace culture
- Ensuring the service operates in accordance with the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard and all relevant regulatory requirements
- Driving the service's Quality Improvement Plan and continually identifying opportunities to strengthen practice
- Working closely with the Educational Leader to support high-quality educational programs and practice
- Leading the recruitment, induction, development, performance management and retention of educators
- Managing staffing, rosters and the effective day-to-day operation of the service
- Building strong, genuine relationships with children and families
- Conducting centre tours and supporting enquiries, enrolments,



occupancy and family retention
- Maintaining effective communication with families and responding professionally to questions or concerns

About you

- Previous experience as a Centre Director, Service Director or equivalent – essential
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standard
- Demonstrated experience leading, developing and motivating an early childhood team
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
- Experience with Assessment and Rating and Quality Improvement Planning
- The ability to build a positive culture while maintaining clear expectations and accountability
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confidence managing challenging conversations and staff performance when required
- A professional, calm and solutions-focused leadership style
