Carer Program Coordinators are responsible for the development of partnerships between consumers, carers and health service providers at the local level. Carer Program Coordinators will work closely with key stakeholders to increase carers access to a range of services and to facilitate communication between carers and health professionals.

The Carer Program Coordinator role will initiate strategies to improve the effectiveness of local health services in meeting the needs of carers, through the provision of structures to promote carer initiatives. These may include education for both carers and health professionals and networking with all key stakeholders within government and non-government organisations. This position will suit a health professional with hospital/community and program management experience.

- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category B role.

- Current NSW Driver’s Licence Class C.
