Care Service Employee Team Leader The opportunity | Valued for the impact you make

As a Care Service Employee Team Leader, you will bring strong experience in delivering individualised, person-centred care to residents within our Mount Warrigal Residential Home. Leading by example, you will support and guide a team of care staff while building strong professional partnerships with our Registered Nurses and wider multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive exceptional care and support.

With a genuine commitment to supporting older people, you will play an important role in promoting residents' independence, wellbeing and quality of life. You will coordinate care delivery, support medication administration and mentor team members to maintain the highest standards of clinical and compassionate care.

The requirements | What it takes to do this work

- Certificate IV in Ageing Support (or equivalent) with Medication competency qualification (HLTHPS007 - Administer and Monitor Medications or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience working in aged care or residential care environments
- Experience providing leadership, mentoring or guidance to care teams




- Sound knowledge of resident-centred care principles and aged care standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to accurately document care, observations and incident reports
- Commitment to advocating for older people and supporting their wellbeing
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements within a care environment

- Base hourly rate $42.29 + Penalty rates where they apply
- Permanent Part Time Position located at our Mount Warrigal home
- 16 hours per week | Thursday and Friday 2230 - 0700am
