Role Description This is a full-time, in office Carpenter role based in Narrabundah. The Carpenter will perform a range of tasks including framing, installing structural components, and completing finish carpentry such as doors, trim, and fittings. Daily responsibilities include measuring and cutting materials, using hand and power tools, interpreting drawings and plans, and ensuring work meets safety and quality standards.





The role also involves collaborating with site supervisors and other trades, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and assisting with problem-solving on construction projects.

Qualifications

- Strong carpentry skills, including experience with both structural and finish carpentry.
- Proficient use of hand tools and power tools in a construction environment.
- Solid framing experience for residential and/or commercial projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and measurements accurately.
- Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in carpentry, or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of construction site safety practices and willingness to follow all safety procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team on-site.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working in varied weather conditions.
