About the Role
As a Centre Manager or Assistant Centre Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting the successful operation of the centre and creating an environment where children, families and educators feel valued. Depending on your level of experience, you'll be involved in:
- Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of educators
- Building strong relationships with children, families and the local community
- Supporting the delivery of a high-quality educational program
- Maintaining high standards of compliance, safety and quality
- Supporting staff performance, development and wellbeing
- Contributing to centre operations and day-to-day decision making
- Building a positive and team-oriented team culture
- Supporting continuous improvement across the centre
- Working closely with senior leadership to achieve organisational goals
The employer uses an evidence-based curriculum and provides ongoing training and support to help leaders continue developing their skills.
About You
We're looking for an early childhood professional who is passionate about leadership and creating positive outcomes for children, families and educators.
You'll ideally have
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Previous leadership experience within an early learning environment
- Experience as a Centre Manager, Assistant Centre Manager, Educational Leader or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for developing and supporting educators
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- A positive, collaborative and professional approach
- A commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and high-quality learning environment
