Centre Director – Fletcher, NSW
What if your next Centre Director role was about more than running a centre — and gave you the opportunity to help shape what exceptional early childhood education could look like?
We are partnering with a passionate early childhood provider seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead their service and bring an ambitious educational vision to life. They are looking for a leader who believes great early learning begins with curiosity. Someone who wants children to be deeply engaged in their environment, educators to feel inspired by their profession, and families to genuinely understand and connect with the learning happening every day.
This is an opportunity to lead with purpose, develop people and help create a service that children, families and educators are genuinely excited to be part of.
Our Client
Our client is an experienced early childhood provider with a transparent vision for the type of service they want to create.
At the heart of that vision is a belief that children are capable, curious learners who should have the time and freedom to investigate ideas, explore their interests and become deeply involved in their play.
The provider understands that delivering this level of practice requires investment in people. They are committed to developing educator capability, encouraging professional reflection and creating a culture where people are continually learning from one another.
The Role
As Centre Director, you will play an integral role in turning this vision into everyday practice.
This isn't simply about managing operations and maintaining compliance. You'll be responsible for creating the conditions in which great education, strong relationships and a positive team culture can flourish.

- Inspire educators around a shared vision for quality early childhood education.
- Coach, mentor and develop your team.
- Build a positive, reflective and collaborative team culture.
- Champion inquiry-based and child-led learning.
- Support educators to recognise children's behaviour as communication and respond thoughtfully.
- Encourage environments that allow children time for sustained and meaningful play.
- Build strong partnerships with children, families and the wider community.
- Maintain high standards across quality, compliance and child safety.
- Lead meaningful and sustainable continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with the Approved Provider to continue shaping the service.

About You
We are looking for an experienced Centre Director who is passionate about both people and pedagogy.
You understand that exceptional services aren't created through policies and processes alone. They're created by capable educators, strong relationships, thoughtful leadership and a shared belief in what children deserve.
You will bring
- Previous experience leading an early childhood service.
- A strong understanding of the NQF, EYLF and National Regulations.
- A genuine passion for high-quality early childhood pedagogy.
- An understanding of inquiry-based and child-led approaches to learning.
- Strong coaching, mentoring and people-development capability.
- The confidence to challenge practice constructively and support educators through change.
