Walt & Burley is looking for a career-driven CDP to join our kitchen team at one of Canberra’s best waterfront locations.

Sitting right on the edge of Lake Burley Griffin at Kingston Foreshore, Walt & Burley is a busy, established gastro pub with a strong local following, high-volume trade and a stable, experienced team.

We’re part of one of Canberra’s leading independent restaurant and bar groups, with multiple venues and further growth ahead. We’re looking for someone who wants more than their next kitchen job: someone who wants to develop their skills, take on greater responsibility and build a career within a growing hospitality group.

About you We’re looking for someone who:

- Has a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience
- Has a genuine passion for food and hospitality
- Takes pride in the food they put across the pass
- Is interested in food trends, new ideas and what’s happening in the market
- Has solid attention to detail
- Is reliable, punctual and professional
- Communicates well and enjoys working as part of a team
- Wants to continue learning and developing their skills
- Is motivated, ambitious and career-driven
- Can perform well in a busy service environment
