About the role
Arcobar is an award winning and well-established hospitality venue that has been a part of the community for more than 10 years. As our client base continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Planning and developing menus in consultation with management
- Preparing, cooking and presenting a range of dishes to a high standard
- Supervising food preparation and ensuring consistency in quality and presentation
- Monitoring food quality at all stages of preparation and service
- Managing stock levels and ordering food supplies as required
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards
- Training and supervising kitchen staff where required
- Assisting with cost control and minimising food wastage
About you
- At least two years of relevant full time work experience as a Chef
- A relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene
