East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is a fully accredited small rural health service across five campuses encompassing five communities in the Buloke and Northern Grampians Shires in North Western Victoria.

Applications are invited from qualified Chefs or equivalent qualification for the Chef role at the Wycheproof Campus. Consideration may be given to a Cook with minimum 2 years of experience in a cook role or equivalent position. An apprenticeship in Cookery may also be considered for the right candidate.

This position consists of leading a dedicated team of experienced staff in providing quality meals for acute patients, aged care residents, Planned Activity Group clients, meals on wheels’ clients, and function catering.

The successful applicant/s will be team-orientated with formal qualifications or equivalent experience in the industry. A sound knowledge of ordering, food safety, budgeting and staff supervision would be an advantage.
