We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team in a full time capacity.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality food preparation and production while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, presentation and kitchen operations.

About the Role

As a Chef, you will be responsible for:

- Planning and preparing a range of high-quality dishes in accordance with established menus and recipes.

- Overseeing daily food preparation and ensuring consistency, quality and presentation of all dishes.

- Managing food stock, including ordering, receiving, storing and monitoring ingredients to minimise waste.

- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with relevant Australian food safety requirements.

- Coordinating kitchen operations and ensuring food is prepared and served efficiently during busy service periods.

- Assisting with menu development, recipe improvements and seasonal food offerings.

- Supervising and supporting kitchen staff,



including providing guidance on food preparation and cooking techniques.

- Monitoring food costs, portion control and kitchen wastage to support efficient and profitable operations.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Commercial Cookery or a related field.

- A minimum of three years' experience working as a Chef.

- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.

- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.

- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.
