FULL-TIME CHEF – MIKAZUKI MODERN JAPANESE Location: Melrose Park, Sydney Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per annum + superannuation

Mikazuki Up-to-date Japanese is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team.

THE ROLE

- Plan menus and oversee food preparation and cooking
- Manage daily kitchen operations in accordance with the roster
- Work assigned shifts as scheduled
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
- Supervise, train and support kitchen staff
- Manage stock control and conduct regular stocktakes
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety and occupational health and safety requirements
- Maintain portion control, presentation and consistency across all dishes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
- Diploma of Hospitality Management

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
- Experience with Japanese cuisine is preferred
- Highly organised, reliable and professional




- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexible availability to work rostered shifts
- Sound knowledge of food safety and HACCP requirements
