Palm Club is a new island-inspired café and bar coming to Williamstown.

By day, we’ll serve quality coffee and vibrant Caribbean-influenced food. By night, the venue will come alive through cocktails, music, events and warm island hospitality.

We’re looking for a passionate, practical and creative Chef to help bring the Palm Club menu to life and establish a strong kitchen from the beginning.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for:

- Preparing and consistently delivering the Palm Club menu
- Helping refine recipes, presentation and kitchen systems
- Managing preparation and service across breakfast, lunch and evening trade
- Maintaining food quality, safety and compliance standards
- Supporting ordering, stock control, food costs and waste management
- Training and supporting cooks and kitchen staff
- Developing specials and contributing new menu ideas
- Creating a respectful, organised and positive kitchen culture

ABOUT YOU We’re looking for someone who:
- Has professional experience in a café, restaurant or commercial kitchen
- Takes pride in flavour, consistency and presentation




- Can confidently manage preparation and service
- Remains organised and solutions-focused under pressure
- Communicates well and treats every team member with respect
- Is comfortable contributing ideas and receiving feedback
- Wants to help build a new kitchen, not simply walk into a finished operation
