Chef – Casual or Full Time

Montalto Vineyard | Red Hill South, Mornington Peninsula VIC

Montalto Vineyard is a premium hospitality and wine tourism destination operating a restaurant, cellar door and events venue on the Mornington Peninsula. We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our professional kitchen team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook high-quality menu items in a professional kitchen environment
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal menu planning
- Maintain food quality, presentation and portion control standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
- Assist with supervision and guidance of junior kitchen staff
- Support efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant commercial cooking experience
- Experience working in a professional hospitality kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
- Ability to work a versatile roster including weekends and public holidays

Salary Competitive Salary for Level4/5 commensurate with skills and experience.
