We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Kingfishers Cafe & Restaurant in Toowoomba, QLD. As a full time member of our vibrant kitchen, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers. Service for breakfast & lunch.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes, focusing on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are presented to the highest standard, adhering to our brand guidelines
- Collaborate with the other chefs to develop new menu items and improve existing ones
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Mentor and train junior kitchen staff to uphold our culinary standards
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant environment
- Solid working knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
- Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
