GENEX GROUP NT PTY LTD is a Northern Territory-based business providing civil construction and traffic management services across infrastructure, roadworks and construction projects.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team and support the planning, coordination and delivery of civil construction and infrastructure projects throughout the Northern Territory.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate and monitor civil construction and infrastructure works.
- Prepare, review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, specifications and technical documentation.
- Provide engineering and technical support for roadworks, earthworks, drainage and other civil works.
- Conduct site inspections, measurements and quality assurance checks.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and project requirements.
- Assist with project scheduling, quantities, material requirements and cost monitoring.
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, traffic management teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
- Identify technical and construction issues and develop practical engineering solutions.
- Monitor project progress to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and within required timeframes.
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, environmental obligations, Australian Standards and company procedures.




- Prepare progress reports, technical reports, risk assessments, inspection records and other project documentation.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of traffic management requirements associated with civil construction and roadworks.
- Support continuous improvement in project safety, quality and operational efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Relevant experience in civil engineering, civil construction, roadworks or infrastructure projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of civil construction methods, quality assurance and WHS requirements.
- Robust technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, supervisors, contractors and site personnel.
- Willingness to undertake both office-based and site-based duties.
- Current Australian driver's licence is desirable.
