The Opportunity

Pilbara Rail Maintenance Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Draftsperson to support our rail maintenance and infrastructure projects.

The role will involve preparing detailed drawings, plans, sketches, charts and technical documentation for civil engineering and rail infrastructure works. You will work closely with engineers and project teams to interpret engineering instructions, prepare and revise drawings, and ensure documentation meets project specifications and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed civil engineering and rail infrastructure drawings, plans and sketches.
- Prepare and revise drawings in accordance with engineering instructions, specifications and project requirements.
- Interpret engineering drawings, plans, designs and work instructions.
- Prepare charts, schedules,



tabulations and supporting technical documentation.
- Assist engineers and project teams with drafting requirements.
- Review drawings and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate drawing registers, revisions and project records.
- Liaise with project, engineering and operational teams as required.

About You

- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering, Civil Drafting or a related discipline, or at least three years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson, preferably within rail, civil construction or infrastructure.
- Proficient in computer-aided design and drafting software.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong drafting, communication and technical interpretation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety, quality and meeting project requirements.
