Tara Anglican School for Girls is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP). We are a vibrant learning community where curiosity, inquiry and excellence are valued, and where students are encouraged to become confident, capable and compassionate learners.We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher to join our Junior School in a part-time (0.6 FTE) role. This position provides release time for Junior School Team Leaders through the teaching of classes across a range of year levels.

About the Role
Working across multiple Junior School year levels, you will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs that support student engagement and achievement.
- Collaborate with Team Leaders, classroom teachers and specialist staff to ensure continuity of learning.
- Plan, assess and report on student progress in line with School expectations.
- Foster inclusive and positive learning environments that support student wellbeing.
- Contribute to inquiry-based learning and transdisciplinary teaching practices within the PYP framework.
- Participate actively in the professional and community life of the School.
About You You are a flexible and highly organised educator who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building strong relationships with students, colleagues and families.

Essential Requirements
- Appropriate teaching qualifications and eligibility to teach in NSW.
- Current NESA accreditation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the NESA NSW syllabuses and the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
- Experience planning, delivering and evaluating high-quality learning programs.
- Strong understanding of differentiation, assessment for learning and contemporary teaching practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team.
Desirable
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), or a similar inquiry-based learning framework.
- Experience teaching across a range of primary year levels.
- Knowledge of contemporary approaches to student wellbeing and behaviour support.
- Experience integrating digital technologies into teaching and learning.
- Familiarity with Toddle or similar curriculum, assessment and reporting platforms.
