We provide vital services including cleaning, waste management, and security. With clinical services delivered by Peninsula Health, this state-of-the-art public hospital will play a significant role in supporting the local community. THE POSITION

- Follow strict infection prevention and control procedures.
- Complete post-discharge cleans and prepares rooms for incoming patients.
- Safely use and store hospital-approved cleaning products and equipment.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report maintenance concerns.
- Apply approved cleaning and disinfection practices to minimise infection risks.
- Safely handle and dispose of clinical and biohazardous waste.
- Operate floor cleaning equipment, including scrubbers and buffers.

THE PERSON

- Committed to health, safety, and infection control standards.
- Experience using technology to resolve allocated tasks.




- Takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Respects patient privacy and demonstrates sensitivity in healthcare settings.
- Works collaboratively with hospital staff and team members.
- Holds, or can obtain, a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
- Willing to meet hospital immunisation requirements as required.
