Backed by a national network, the firm continues to grow and is now seeking a Client Manager to play a key role in their Sydney team. You’ll work with a diverse client portfolio spanning start-ups, family groups and SMEs through to consolidated groups and international clients, with the autonomy to manage relationships and deliver work your way. You’ll act as the 2IC to the Managing Director across their portfolio, taking on a predominantly client-facing role with minimal staff management, allowing you to focus on client relationships, technical work and advisory opportunities.

Some responsibilities include:

- Preparation and review of income tax returns for all entities and all other compliance requirements
- Finalising complex financial accounts




- Preparation and analysis of management reports
- Provision of tax advice on issues such as FBT, Div7A, CGT, GST, PSI, tax planning and structuring
- Providing support to Managing Director in relation to client management and project based work.

Applicants:

- Experience working in a Manager or Supervisor capacity in Business Services/Tax
- Approximately 6+ years’ experience in public practice
- CA/CPA qualified
- Strong technical understanding of SME matters and able to advise on related issues
- Demonstrated experience managing own clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solutions-oriented mindset and able to articulate information of varying complexities to stakeholders effectively
