Senior Project Engineer – Water Infrastructure

Tallai is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the delivery team on a major water treatment project based in Jindabyne.

This role requires a strong civil construction background, ideally gained across water, wastewater or major infrastructure projects. We are specifically looking for civil engineering experience rather than a mechanical background.

The Role

- Support the delivery of civil works across the project
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site activities
- Coordinate construction programs, procurement and project documentation
- Monitor project costs, progress, quality and safety
- Review drawings, specifications and technical requirements
- Work closely with the Project Manager, site team, client and key stakeholders
- Identify and resolve engineering and construction issues
- Support the successful delivery of the project through to completion

About You





- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer
- Robust civil construction background
- Water or wastewater infrastructure experience is highly regarded
- Experience delivering concrete structures, pipelines, earthworks and associated civil works
- Strong commercial, planning and subcontractor management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
- Australian working rights
