About the role

As a Project Manager you will work autonomously on construction projects valued from $1 million to $8 million, reporting directly to the Jenarc Director. You will manage construction projects from end-to-end in line with Jenarc's project delivery approach and our client's requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Manage construction projects from end-to-end in line with Jenarc's project delivery approach and our client's requirements.
- Manage design and technical consultants' output, aligned with the project requirements.
- Effectively manage the head contractor and the delivery of the project under an AS or GC21 contract, including proactively responding to and acting in our client's interest through responding to information requests, notice of delays, extensions of time, and progress claims.
- Use Procore to successfully coordinate the project and manage all project finances.
- Prepare detailed project programs in Microsoft Project from project planning, design consultants, approvals, through to detailed construction delivery.
- Directly communicate with clients on a frequent basis,



hold fortnightly client meetings and attend contractor PCG meetings.
- Plan, prepare, and manage select and open market tender procurements.
- Undertake other adhoc project management tasks pertaining to the construction project.

About you

- Minimum 5 years' working experience in the construction or building industry.
- Experience delivering construction projects under a head contract, desirably the Australian Standard and/or GC21 contract suite.
- Strong leadership skills with a proactive and solution-focused approach to driving outcomes and overcoming challenges in project delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that help you reach outcomes, including communicating with confidence and clarity, understanding your audience, resolving conflicts neutrally, and negotiating effectively,
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships throughout a project, despite day-to-day delivery challenges.
- Willing and able to undertake regional and remote travel. Travel requirements may equate to 2 weeks per quarter (not consecutive).
- Experience delivering healthcare infrastructure is desirable but not essential.
