New Auckland Place is a family owned, 128 bed Aged Care Facility in Gladstone, QLD. We pride ourselves with having a outstanding rapport within the community, renowned for staff retention and a high standard of resident care.

We are currently seeking a committed Clinical Coordinator to join our Clinical Leadership team at New Auckland Place.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will lead the Registered Nurse Team and achieve the best possible clinical outcomes for all residents by ensuring that high-quality nursing services are provided through the application of clinical and nursing skills, practitioner knowledge, qualifications and work practice. You will participate in clinical governance activities, including planning and implementing clinical priorities.

This is a great next step for a passionate Registered Nurse with experience in the aged care industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Organise and facilitate all allied health services for our clients
- Supervision of nursing care, services and clinical staff
- Oversee specialised nursing care needs and high impact high prevalent risks
- Monitor the delivery of care to ensure it is consistent with the care plan and goals including dignity of risk choices
- Provide clinical leadership, mentorship and support ongoing clinical education
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and health professionals
- Support a culture of best practice,



practice evaluation and achievement of clinical outcomes
- Oversee and implement quality improvement initiatives to ensure high quality of services
- Promote a strong customer focused culture
- Ensure all documentation, procedures and reporting meet relevant guidelines and legislation
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislative requirements
- Maintain up to date, clear and accurate client care plans, records and meet administrative requirements in accordance with policies, procedures and funding guidelines

Skills/Requirements:

- Current AHPRA Nursing registration (ESSENTIAL) with at least 2-3 years aged care clinical experience.
- Excellent clinical knowledge and skill (ESSENTIAL)
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of the Quality Standards for Aged Care (preferred)
- Excellent and demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and ability to use computers and technology efficiently
- To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, and supply an NDIS worker screening clearance
