About the role
Be a part of the team in this dynamic role supporting the Orange Region Hub Community Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Teams. The Clinical Nurse Educator provides clinical education, training and evaluation of knowledge and skills to promote and support improved nursing care within the Western NSW Local Health District.
Successful applicants will enjoy working with multiple teams, assisting in their development, while working with other clinical seniors to foster the next generation’s workforce. While navigating the needs of the teams will come with challenges, this highly rewarding role comes with flexibility, in work travel and great personal development.
You will show evidence of advanced clinical nursing skills with demonstrated knowledge and skill using technology appropriate to the clinical area. You’ll also participate in the development and review of procedures and guidelines to improve the provision education advice and expertise.
The Orange Community Mental Health Teams are multidisciplinary who work closely with family, community organisations, health services and consumers to provide mental health care to our local population.
