We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse to our Rehabilitation Community Care Unit (CCU).

As a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member, the Clinical Nurse Rehabilitation Services CCU deliver high level discipline specific clinical services and leadership to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health.

The Community Care Unit is a 35 bed community based service for adult consumers aged 18 – 65 years who have a severe and persistent mental illness. These symptoms substantially impair their psychosocial function and the capacity for independent living. The CCU is a level 5 non-acute facility as outlined in the Clinical Services Capability framework (CSCF).

Key Responsibilities include:

- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being understood to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) – State 2015 – Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 6, Band 1 and the Queensland Public Service values.
- Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.




- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.

Remuneration value up to $103 549 p.a, comprising salary rates $57.76 - $61.85 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NRG6.1) (Permanent Part time, 56hrs p.f.).
