About the role
This position is about leading a great team and making a real difference in the lives of our residents. You’ll support and mentor the care team, provide clinical guidance, and help ensure residents receive secure, high-quality and person-centred care. With a focus on dementia care, you’ll work closely with residents, families and the wider team to make sure every person feels heard, respected and cared for.

About you
You’ll be someone who leads with compassion, brings confidence to your clinical practice and genuinely enjoys getting to know the people in your care. You’ll take pride in making a difference, building meaningful relationships with residents and their families, and supporting your team to deliver care that is thoughtful, person-centred and high quality. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively, sharing your knowledge and embracing new ideas.
Warm, approachable and organised, you’ll bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to making every day a little better for the people around you.
Your key experience will include:
- Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
- Experience in Aged Care, with an understanding of current Age Care Quality Standards preferred
- Demonstrated contemporary clinical practice & person-centred care
- Strong communication, documentation and time management skills
- Sharing our MercyCare’s values and dedication to genuine quality care
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months
