About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Manager, with a dotted line into the Commercial Finance team, this role will play a critical role in driving insight, reporting and commercial decision-making across Oroton's Supply Chain function. This role is responsible for optimising reporting frameworks, analysing financial and operational performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and cost outcomes across the business.
This is a unique opportunity for a naturally curious and commercially minded analyst to build meaningful reporting, drive operational improvements and help shape the future of Supply Chain through the adoption of AI, automation and smarter ways of working.
Key responsibilities
- Own and enhance Supply Chain reporting, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to support business performance.
- Analyse operational and financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cost management across the Supply Chain function.
- Build commercial models and business cases to support key projects and strategic decisions.
- Deliver insights across freight, warehousing, labour, inventory and operational performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies, process improvements and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain KPI reporting and performance scorecards.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to improve reporting efficiency, analysis and decision-making.
What we're looking for:
- 4+ years' experience in data analysis, reporting, finance, commercial analytics or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI capability.
- Experience working with reporting, forecasting, budgeting or performance analysis.
- A naturally curious mindset with a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills. Interest or experience in AI, automation and technology-driven business improvement.
- Qualifications in Commerce, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
