Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of work, we are looking to add two experienced Estimators to our clients team:

- Commercial Estimator
- Joinery Estimator

Commercial Estimator

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Estimator who can take ownership of the estimating process from reviewing documentation through to tender submission. You will be involved in pricing a range of commercial construction projects ( Fast food chains, education and retail), working closely with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants and the internal project team to ensure tenders are accurate, competitive and commercially sound.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing architectural, engineering and construction documentation
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, take-offs and Bills of Quantities
- Obtaining and assessing subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Preparing competitive and accurate tender submissions
- Identifying project risks, exclusions, assumptions and opportunities
- Analyzing project costs and ensuring pricing is commercially viable
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients as required
- Attending tender meetings and site inspections
- Assisting with tender negotiations and handover to the project team
- Maintaining accurate estimating records and cost information

About you:

You will ideally have:
- Previous experience estimating within commercial construction




- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials and trade scopes
- The ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
- A methodical and organized approach to estimating
- Relevant construction, building, quantity surveying or related qualifications are desirable

We are particularly interested in someone who is confident working independently, understands where the risks are in a tender and takes pride in producing accurate, well-considered pricing.

Joinery Estimator

We are also seeking an experienced Joinery Estimator to join our clients team and take responsibility for estimating and pricing commercial joinery packages. This role would suit someone with a strong understanding of commercial joinery, cabinetry and fit-out, who can confidently interpret drawings and specifications and turn them into accurate, commercially viable estimates.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing architectural drawings, joinery drawings, specifications and schedules
- Completing detailed joinery take-offs
- Preparing estimates and quotations for commercial joinery packages
- Pricing materials, hardware, labour, manufacturing and installation
- Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Identifying discrepancies, variations, exclusions and potential cost risks
- Working with designers, project managers,



suppliers and production teams
- Ensuring estimates are accurate, competitive and aligned with project requirements
- Assisting with tender submissions and negotiations
- Supporting the transition from estimating through to production and project delivery

About you:

You will ideally have:
- Previous experience estimating commercial or residential joinery
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry, materials, hardware and manufacturing processes
- The ability to read and interpret architectural and joinery drawings
- A solid understanding of commercial fit-out and construction
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Experience with estimating/tendering software and Microsoft Office

A background in joinery, cabinet making, shopfitting, commercial fit-out or production will be highly regarded.
