Opportunity

I’m currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join a growing energy developer with an exciting portfolio of projects across Australia.

This is a fantastic prospect for a commercially minded professional who enjoys working at the intersection of commercial strategy, contracts, legal and stakeholder management. The initial engagement will be temporary, with a genuine opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

The Opportunity Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in managing commercial matters across the business and supporting the successful delivery of energy projects.

You’ll work closely with internal teams, external advisors, lawyers, consultants, project partners and other key stakeholders, ensuring commercial risks are identified, managed and resolved effectively.

About You We’re looking for someone who brings strong commercial judgement and is confident operating in a complex stakeholder environment.

You’ll ideally have:

- Proven experience in a commercial management, contracts or project commercial role, ideally within energy, infrastructure, construction or a related sector.
- Strong experience working with and managing external lawyers and legal advisors, including reviewing, negotiating and managing commercial agreements.




- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence people across different levels and organisations.
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities and translate them into practical outcomes.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and the ability to operate autonomously.
