Nurse Next Door Ballarat is looking for a confident, energetic go-getter to help us spread the word, build strong connections across our local community and grow our local business.

This is a hands-on community partnerships and business development role for someone who loves meeting people, building genuine relationships, spotting opportunities and making things happen — helping more people discover who we are, what we do and how we can support them.

YOUR IMPACT

- Build genuine relationships with community members, GPs, hospitals, allied health, aged care, NDIS, Support at Home and community organisations
- Get out into the community, attend events and create new connections
- Build Nurse Next Door Ballarat's local presence, profile and community awareness
- Identify and develop new partnership and business opportunities
- Organise meetings, presentations, information sessions and community events
- Promote Nurse Next Door Ballarat and spread the word about what we do
- Follow up connections and turn relationships into meaningful opportunities, partnerships and referrals
- Take ownership of your relationships, opportunities, activity and results A RELATIONSHIP-LED APPROACH

This isn't about cold-calling or pushy sales.

It's about building genuine relationships across our local community, understanding what people and organisations need, sharing what we do and creating trusted connections.

We want Nurse Next Door Ballarat to be known, connected and visible within our community.

THE PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who is:

- A natural people person and relationship builder
- A proactive self-starter and genuine doer
- Confident and not afraid to open doors




- Comfortable walking into a current organisation and starting a conversation
- Organised, accountable and excellent at follow-up
- Confident communicating and presenting
- Commercially aware and motivated by real results
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
- Not afraid to stand out and represent a bold brand

Experience in business development, community engagement, sales, partnerships, relationship management or a similar role is highly regarded.

Experience in aged care, NDIS, Support at Home or community services is advantageous, but not essential.

Formal qualifications aren't essential. We're looking for the right person, attitude and ability to make things happen.

We want to see genuine relationships turn into meaningful connections, opportunities and sustainable growth.

Connections → Relationships → Opportunities → Referrals → New Clients → Client Hours → Growth

You'll be accountable for your activity, relationships, opportunities and agreed KPIs, with success ultimately reflected in stronger community connections, new partnerships, new clients and sustainable care hours.

You don't need to arrive with a ready-made network or client list.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Initially approximately 15–20 hours per week

$45–$50 per hour + super

Performance incentives may be available.

We're starting small, but we're not putting a ceiling on the role.

For the right person, there is genuine prospect for increased hours and for the role to grow with you as the business grows.
