About The Role
n
We are currently seeking a passionate ENG Camera Operator/Editor to join our team. Reporting to the State News Director, you will be responsible for shooting and editing high quality stories for news and updates. Working in a regional newsroom is an opportunity like no other - it is truly a rewarding experience where you will get to shoot all rounds of news. In areas such as the setting, sport, politics, you name it - you have the control to make a difference within the community. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, based at our Traralgon office.

About You
n
To be the successful candidate, you will have:
n
n
- Demonstrated skills with both camera operation and editing
n
- Experience shooting interviews, sport and community activities
n
- A high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
n
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
n
- Ability to operate productively in a team environment,
contributing positively to our operation and to working relationships
n
- Ability to contribute ideas, and to demonstrate initiative and flexibility
n
- Positive work ethic, with ability and willingness to learn new systems
n
- High level of creativity with the flair to 'see' a news story
n
- Unrestricted drivers licence essential
n
