We are looking for a dedicated Graduate Speech Pathologist to join our passionate multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for an early-career clinician who wants strong support, structured supervision and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.

n

You'll support a diverse range of clients, including children with speech and language disorders, stuttering, literacy difficulties, social communication needs, feeding challenges and everything in between.

n

This is a permanent, full-time role based in our fully equipped and well-resourced clinic in Springwood, QLD. Flexible work-from-home opportunities are also available for report writing and session preparation.

Your Key Responsibilities

n

- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to infants, children and adolescents.
n
- Conduct assessments using tools such as CELF-5 and PLS-5, and prepare comprehensive reports.
n
- Write NDIS reports as needed.
n
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of Psychologists and Occupational Therapists.
n
- Create engaging, play-based therapy sessions and contribute to program and resource development.
n
- Provide therapy in-clinic.
n
- Write high-quality reports and manage your caseload effectively.
n
- Commit to ongoing professional learning and best-practice approaches.
n
- Follow clinic policies and procedures.
n

Qualifications and Experience

n

n
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
n
- Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia.
n
- Experience with, or a strong interest in, developmental conditions such as Autism and ADHD, as well as speech and language conditions including feeding, swallowing, literacy and articulation.
n




- Familiarity with NDIS and Medicare systems.
n
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development and school support systems.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check, First Aid Certificate and Driver's Licence, or willingness to obtain.
n
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa with unrestricted work rights.

Professional Development

n

We strongly believe in investing in our early-career clinicians. During your first year in the New Graduate program, you'll receive structured support to continue developing your skills and confidence.

n

- External supervision: Approximately fortnightly supervision with a paid external Senior Speech and Language Therapist of your choice for 12 months, including approximately 20 sessions up to the value of $230 per session.
n
- In-house peer supervision: Fortnightly in-house peer supervision with our Speech and Language Pathologist.
n
- Higher first-year PD budget: An additional professional development budget of up to $2,000 FTE during your first 12 months, plus up to 4 days of additional PD leave on top of annual and sick leave.

Your caseload will be busy, but manageable. We schedule administration time directly into your calendar so you can stay prepared, complete reports and keep notes up to date.
