Primary objective

Undertake regulatory authorisation and compliance activities, including investigations and operations across a range of legislative frameworks administered by the agency. Adopt a problem solving approach and undertake community and industry education and awareness as required.

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Liaise with industry, stakeholders and the community to achieve Business and Workforce objectives
2. Assist with regulatory and compliance activities,



and information sessions, in accordance with an enforcement and

compliance program, across a broad range of licensing and associations legislative frameworks.
1. Administer relevant legislation and exercise statutory responsibilities as delegated.
2. Assist with compliance monitoring, auditing, complaint handling, investigation and prosecution documentation.
3. Prepare correspondence and reports, in relation to areas of responsibilities.
4. Contribute to best practice compliance activities and continuous improvement.

Selection criteria

Essential

1. Demonstrated sound analytical, judgment, problem solving, and investigation and research skills.
2. Ability to interpret and apply legislative frameworks, policies and procedures.
3. Demonstrated sound oral communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills,

and the ability to interact effectively with people of diverse cultures.
- Demonstrated written communication skills across reports, briefs and external correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a team member as well as independently, work under pressure, and prioritise workloads in a busy setting.
- Hold a current NT Driver's licence and demonstrated ability and willingness to undertake intrastate travel, including to regional and remote locations.
- Capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, where operational requirements necessitate.

Desirable

1. Completion of Certificate IV or Diploma in Government Investigations or equivalent.
