Coastwide Concrete is a locally owned and operated company supplying ready-mix concrete to the building and construction industry across the Central Coast region.

We currently have an opportunity for a suitable person to join the team as a Batcher/Allocator based out of our Gosford and Warnervale sites.

As a Batcher/Allocator you are responsible for ensuring that customer expectations are met with service and product quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure the efficient batching and loading of concrete, using specific concrete batching software.
- Optimising the utilisation of the Coastwide Concrete fleet through effective planning.
- Engage with customers and respond to enquiries in a timely manner.
- Manage stock levels to meet the demands of customer requirements.
- Relevant concrete industry experience will be highly regarded however full training will be provided.

- Be able to perform all duties associated with the position including manual handling.
- Ability to work reasonable overtime including Saturdays when required.

Essential Requirements:

- Basic administration, document and records management skills and intermediate numeracy skills.
- Be able to, or willing to learn to operate the Front End Loader.
- Skilled, adaptable, resilient, positive and solutions-focused.
- Current unrestricted drivers licence with suitable driving record and own transport (HR drivers licence preferred but not essential)
- Pre-employment medical.

Desirable:

- Experience in concrete batching or concrete pumping. Previous allocations based roles highly regarded.
- Experience in Construction/Logistics/Transport operations.
- Construction Industry White Card
- Licences/tickets in forklift, loader operations and/or other plant equipment
- Qualifications or trade experience in concreting or concrete technology.

Immediate start available. Hourly rate based on experience.
