CME is looking for experienced Construction Electricians to join our Adelaide team. We are not recruiting for one project. We are recruiting people we want to keep.

You'll join a permanent construction workforce backed by a strong forward pipeline of commercial, electrical infrastructure, sports and stadia projects across metropolitan Adelaide and beyond.

The role

As a Construction Electrician with CME, you'll:

- Install, terminate, test and commission commercial electrical systems
- Work from electrical drawings, specifications and construction documentation
- Deliver electrical infrastructure and commercial construction packages
- Work alongside CME supervisors, project managers, engineers and apprentices
- Support and mentor apprentices and trade assistants where required
- Identify problems early and help develop practical solutions
- Maintain CME's standards for workmanship, productivity, safety and presentation
- Complete work in accordance with Australian Standards, project requirements and CME systems

We're looking for electricians who can think for themselves, take pride in their work and contribute positively to the crew.

What you'll need

Essential

- Current South Australian Electrical Worker's Registration
- Current LVR and CPR
- White Card
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Minimum 2 years' post-trade commercial construction experience
- Strong working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000
- Ability to confidently read and work from electrical drawings
- Ability to work productively without constant supervision
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Reliable, professional and team-focused attitude




- Applications without a current SA electrical licence cannot be considered.

Advantageous

- Experience on larger commercial or infrastructure projects
- Experience supervising apprentices or small crews
- National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to occasionally work regionally or interstate
- Aspirations to progress into Leading Hand or supervisory positions
