About the Role

Join CALHN as a Consultant/Senior Consultant – Pain Medicine and deliver specialist, physician-led care for people experiencing acute, persistent and cancer-related pain. Work within an interdisciplinary team while helping shape high-quality pain services, education and future models of care.

Deliver specialist pain care across inpatient, outpatient and outreach settings

Provide consults, procedures, non-invasive neuromodulation and group-based care

Collaborate with medical, nursing, surgical and allied health teams

Supervise and support trainee medical officers

Drive service improvement, teaching, research and clinical practice

About You

You are a collaborative and highly skilled Pain Medicine specialist committed to clinical excellence, patient-centred care and continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role you will:

Hold an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification

Hold AHPRA specialist registration in Pain Medicine





Hold FFPMANZCA or an equivalent specialist qualification

Bring expertise in complex inpatient and outpatient pain care

Demonstrate clinical teaching and quality improvement experience
