Contracts Administrator / Senior Contracts Administrator
Major Water Infrastructure | Western Sydney An opportunity has become available for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join the delivery team on a major recycled water infrastructure project in Western Sydney.
Working as part of an experienced project and commercial team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial and contract administration across two major works contracts.
This is a hands-on, site-based position suited to someone who enjoys being close to project delivery and working directly with Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents and contractors.
The Project The project involves the expansion of a major recycled water facility supporting new infrastructure in Western Sydney.
The scope includes
- DN800 recycled water transfer main
- Reservoir infrastructure
- Booster Pump Station
- Existing network upgrades
- Control system and SCADA integration
- Testing and commissioning
The Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will support the commercial management and administration of two Main Contracts throughout project delivery.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing day-to-day contract administration
- Preparing and issuing payment schedules
- Assessing variations, EOTs and contractor claims
- Preparing contractual correspondence and notices
- Maintaining commercial and contractual registers
- Monitoring programmes, milestones and key contractual dates
- Supporting Project Managers and Superintendents on commercial matters
- Coordinating with the wider project team to ensure contractual obligations are being met
- Supporting commercial reporting and project record keeping
- Escalating complex claims and contractual issues to the Commercial Manager
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience as a Contracts Administrator or Senior Contracts Administrator on construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of Australian standard-form contracts, ideally AS 4000
- Working knowledge of the Security of Payment Act
- Experience with variations, EOTs, claims, payment schedules and contractual notices
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- The ability to work closely with engineering, project and commercial teams
- Experience across water, utilities, civil or process infrastructure
- The ability to work on site full time in Western Sydney
A qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commerce or Law would be highly regarded.

Employment: Full-time, 5 days per week on site
