Lox Stock & Barrel is a busy and well-established neighbourhood deli, café and catering business located in the heart of Bondi Beach. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

This is a hands-on kitchen position working across our café and catering operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast, lunch and catering menu items while maintaining exceptional food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and service standards.
- Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen mise en place.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation and portion control.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation and inventory control.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Comply with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Assist with catering production and event preparation as required.
- Work collaboratively with chefs,



cooks and front-of-house staff during busy service periods.

Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum two years' experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen.
- Relevant Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience in high-volume café, restaurant or catering environments.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

Position Details
- Full-time position (38 hours per week)
- Location: Bondi Beach, NSW
- Salary: $79,423 – $82,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience
- Immediate start available
