The Lord Lyndoch is looking for an experienced Casual Cook / Chef to join our busy kitchen team.

This role offers approximately 20 hours per week, with most shifts available across Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hours are expected to increase over busy event periods, school holidays and the Christmas/summer season, with the opportunity for additional shifts for the right person.

We’re looking for someone who has experience working in a busy kitchen and can keep up when the pressure is on. You’ll need to be reliable, efficient and able to work well as part of a team — while still enjoying great tunes, friendly banter and a positive kitchen atmosphere.

The role will include:

- Food preparation and basic cooking
- Assisting chefs during busy service
- Plating and general kitchen support
- Dishwashing and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- General kitchen duties as required

To be successful, you’ll have:





- Previous experience working in a busy commercial kitchen
- The ability to work well under pressure and maintain pace during service
- A solid work ethic and good sense of urgency
- Reliability and punctuality
- A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
- Availability primarily Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Flexibility to take on additional hours during busy periods
