Credit Manager, Renown Wealth

Salary: AUD $100,000 – $150,000 (+ super)

We're looking for a Credit Manager who can own that process end-to-end: someone who can back their own judgement, build better ways of working, and help us lend well as we grow.

What you'll be doing

- Making credit decisions with a high degree of autonomy: this is your call to own
- Running full credit assessments from first review through to approval
- Weighing up risk and commercial reality to get good deals done, not just the easy ones
- Shaping how we assess credit: what we look at, what we automate, how we score, and how we get to a better decision faster
- Lifting credit quality and speed at the same time, without one coming at the cost of the other
- Reviewing submissions and committee papers before they go to the loans committee
- Giving loan documentation and security packages a final check before they go out the door
- Keeping a close eye on the loan portfolio and flagging risks early, with a plan to deal with them
- Leading workout and recovery processes when loans go distressed, including insolvency matters
- Working closely with lawyers,



insolvency practitioners and valuers as needed
- Overseeing KYC/AML checks for recent investors, distributions, redemptions and related transactions
- Managing and developing one direct report
- Backing up the loan admin team where needed
- Working alongside the leadership team to keep our lending performance strong

What you'll bring

- Solid experience in credit management or credit risk. Private lending or non-bank lending backgrounds especially welcome, though wealth management, banking or broader financial services experience is also relevant
- Sharp analytical skills and a genuinely good read on financial risk
- Judgement you're willing to back: able to see past the checklist to the deal itself
- A solid grasp of credit risk frameworks and the regulatory landscape
- Working knowledge of AML/KYC/CTF obligations and how they apply in practice
- Comfortable leading people and working across a business, not just within a silo
- Familiarity with Titanium Infuse and Titanium Unitise (administration, configuration, implementation) is a strong plus
- Construction or development finance exposure is a bonus
- A relevant qualification in finance, business or similar
